Installing the plugin is easy, just follow these steps:
1. Visit this aricle to learn how to install Securi Security. Skip this step if you have already installed the plugin.
2. On the left navigation panel you should now see Sucuri Security hover to it and click Settings
3. Then on the navigation bar, click Hardening
4. Now enable the following free Hardening Options which blocks the execution of PHP files in sensitive directories of your WordPress installation. This is done by adding a set of rules in your .htaccess file in each of those directories.

- Verify WordPress Version
- Verify PHP Version
- Remove WordPress Version
- Block PHP Files in Uploads Directory
- Block PHP Files in WP-CONTENT Directory
- Block PHP Files in WP-INCLUDES Directory
- Information Leakage
- Default Admin Account
- Plugin and Theme Editor
5. Back on the navigation bar, click Alerts
6. Add a valid e-mail address who can receive important notification and security updates from your Wordpress website and Sucuri
And you're done!
